Online bidding
There are two types of online auctions, live or timed. In a live online auction, you bid online as the auction is happening. You may place bids prior to the the start of the auction or during the auction which occurs on a single set date but the bids will only be shown once the auction starts. In a timed online auction, you may place bids at any time and the highest bid will be reflected. The timed auction lasts over several days and bids may be placed up until the time the auction closes. Bids that are placed in the last few seconds of the auction will cause the auction to extend automatically.
How to Create Account
In order to bid online, you must first create an account and then register to bid for the auction you're interested in. You only need to sign up for an account once, but you will need to register in each auction you would like to bid in. You may do so HERE or you can do so in our free mobile app which can be downloaded from the App Store, or Google Play.
How to Register to Bid
Step 1. Click on the auction you would like to bid in and click the "Register to Bid" button
Step 2. Enter your user name and password and then click on the “Sign In” button. If you don't already have an account, click the "Sign Up Here" link just below the "Sign In" button. This is also where you can reset your password if needed.
Step 3. Follow the instructions by entering your first and last name, a valid email address, and a password at least 8 characters long. Check the "receive bidding notifications by email" box if you would like to be notified when you are outbid on an item (which we recommend).
Step 4. Accept the terms of use and click "Sign Up". This creates your account but you must still register to bid.
Step 5. Enter your information and click “Continue”.
Step 6. Accept the Terms of Use and click "Continue"
Step 7. You will be prompted to enter your credit card information and click "Register". This is only to verify available funds. It will not charge your credit card. There is no cost to register for our auctions!
You are now ready to bid online!
